This 45 min Pregnancy Pilates class focuses on pelvic floor muscle technique, antenatal deep abdominal stability and postural strength to help keep your body strong, pain free and flexible during the changes of your pregnancy.
Using fitballs, pilates style exercises and weights, this class is a low impact functional strength workout guiding you towards an optimum postnatal recovery.
By helping keep you fit and healthy in your pregnancy, your baby also benefits from you exercising such as increased blood flow, the release of happy hormones in your body and a step towards a safer delivery.
Bumpity Bump Physio Preggo Pilates will also incorporate labour relaxation and breathing techniques to help you prepare for your delivery and easy to follow exercises that you can do at home in your own time.
You are welcome to start once you are more than 14 weeks pregnant and any level of fitness is fine - all you need is a pillow, towel, exercise mat and a water bottle.

You can now book your Bumpity Bump Pregnancy Pilates classes via our book online page at group sessions, select "Pregnancy Pilates Class" then select the date you would like to attend and book in.
If your preferred class is not visible it may be FULL so please contact us and we can check availability for you.
Medical
We do require all new patients to book a screening appointment prior to commencing classes and strongly recommend all of our mums to book a Pregnancy Pelvic Floor INITIAL Consultation at Bumpity Bump Physio where we will do a full Continence & Pelvic Health Assessment to check your pelvic floor muscle technique and to make sure your body is ready for exercise. Any concerns that we have we can liaise directly with your medical or health team.
