Meet the Team

Emily Woodall

Emily is one of our receptionists. She loves working alongside our Physio’s whilst she is completing her studies in Physiotherapy at Curtin University.

In her spare time Emily enjoys playing netball and spending time at the beach.

Julie Lynch “Jools”

Jools has been working as a physio for almost 30 years and has always had a special interest  in the area of Women’s Health in particular in antenatal and postnatal care. She completed her Postgrad in Continence and Women’s Health in 2011 and has extensive experience  in both the public and private Physiotherapy sector in Australia and overseas including the UK and Saudi Arabia. In 2012 Jools set up “Bumpity Bump Physiotherapy”  as a dedicated Women’s Health Physio clinic providing the expert physio care that is necessary for women as they journey through their life stages.

Jools’ special interests are obstetric care and education and postnatal rehab.

She has 2 gorgeous kids and with her hubby, goes camping and traveling, eating chocolate and cheese along the way.

Michelle Franklin

Michelle has completed her Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy (Continence and Pelvic Health), as well as currently tutoring at Curtin University.

Michelle's main passion is maximising holistic pelvic health across the lifespan. Michelle has extensive experience in Physiotherapy management of pregnancy related musculoskeletal conditions, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic girdle pain, conservative pelvic organ prolapse management, incontinence concerns, bladder & bowel dysfunction (for men, women & children), pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, comprehensive postnatal reviews and breast-feeding concerns.

Outside of work, Michelle likes to spend quality time with her family (including our fav chocolate lab), participating in the odd netball game/mini triathlon and surfing.

Jamie Maxwell

Jamie has worked at Karrinyup Physiotherapy since completing her Masters of Physiotherapy at Curtin University. She completed post-graduate studies in Women’s, Men’s & Pelvic Health in 2010, receiving the Continence & Women’s Health Physiotherapy Australia (WA Chapter) prize on graduation.

Jamie’s postgraduate training focuses on the comprehensive assessment, education, and management of pelvic floor disorders. She treats bladder/bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic/coccygeal pain, dyspareunia (pain with intercourse) and the multifaceted changes women experience during the childbearing years.

With experience working in private practice and on the maternity wards within the hospital, Jamie has a particular interest in providing physiotherapy care and support for women throughout their pregnancy, providing early postnatal care and facilitating recovery following vaginal or caesarean delivery, treating breastfeeding issues and assisting women return to exercise after having a baby.

In her spare time, Jamie enjoys keeping fit and spending quality time with her two children, family and close friends.

Katie Treagust

Katie holds a post graduate Masters qualification in Continence and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.

Katie's passion lies in helping women through all stages of life manage their pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction, pregnancy and postnatal care (including return to exercise), pelvic organ prolapse and general musculoskeletal issues.

Katie has worked in several Perth private practice clinics and holds further qualifications in pilates and exercise rehabilitation. She has an extensive background in gymnastics and holds further qualifications in Exercise & Sports Science. Katie uses these extra skills in her assessments, treatments and to put together rehabilitation programs.

Outside of work Katie enjoys going to the beach, being out in the garden and enjoying time with her family.

Jane Gastevski

Jane Gastevski is a mother of three young children who  loves being a physiotherapist during the past 20 years. Jane is passionate about helping women manage and prevent all musculoskeletal skeletal conditions to maximise their enjoyment and happiness in life.

Jane loves doing anything active and outdoors and really enjoys being part of the wonderful team at Bumpity Bump Physiotherapy.

Claire Spencer

Claire has been a Physiotherapist since 1997 and joined our Bumpity Bump team this year. She is currently running our Floreat Forum Postnatal Hydrotherapy classes for Mum and Bubs. She is passionate about making exercise fun and enjoyable for both the mums and the bubs and keeping an eye on babies developmental milestones. With a background in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Claire focusses on whole body exercises being completed in a correct way whilst adding in that well needed pelvic floor strengthening!

Sinead Hornby

Sinead has worked as a physiotherapist across private practice clinics in Perth and on the maternity ward in a private hospital for many years. This sparked an interest to further her knowledge and skills in the field, completing a Masters of Physiotherapy (Continence andPelvic Health).

Sinead is passionate about helping women optimise their pelvic health and overall quality of life through a combination of education, guidance with lifestyle modifications and exercise. Sinead specialises in the management of bladder and bowel dysfunction, as well as the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, female sexual dysfunction and specific antenatal and postnatal disorders.

In her spare time, Sinead loves staying active with her Border Collie - Bowie, exploring the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.  

Maree Collins

Maree Collins is our cheerful and amazing Bumpity Bump Physio Practice Manager who has a Bachelor of Science (Human Movement) and plenty of experience in the physio world. She has three busy children and understands the joys and challenges family life entails. In her spare time you will find her camping up North, spending time at the beach and photographing her kids.
